Panel 1: Yeoh waves her hand to the side and says to Salix, "That's a months-long trip through the middle of nowhere." Salix rubs her forefinger and thumb together as she says, "A months-long trip for six figures, Yeoh. Plus operating costs."
Panel 2: Yeoh looks off to the side, chewing one of her fingernails and says, "Even that much won't buy off the contraband checkpoints. We're sunk if we pop hot on a scan out that far."
Panel 3: Yeoh looks up at Meredith as they say, "Won't be an issue. Soulgems are too suffused with magic to show anything on a scan."
Panel 4: Meredith gestures at themself with a thumb and says, "You'd have to cut me open to find anything." Salix adds, "Which is pretty fucking hard to do." Her thought bubble reads, "I could do it, but y'know."
Panel 5: Close up on Salix as she smirks and spreads her hands out, saying, "Point is, Meredith isn't some personal assistant stuffed full'a gears and shit."
Panel 6: Yeoh is looking up at Meredith as Salix says off-panel, "They were built for fighting, and that's why I picked 'em to go with you. Get it, now?"
